Clinical Supervision for California Associate Therapists

Grow Your Clinical Voice Without Losing Yourself in the Process

Clinical supervision should be more than reviewing cases and checking boxes.

I provide virtual supervision for California AMFTs, APCCs, and ASWs who want support building their clinical skills, expanding their knowledge, and preparing for independent practice.

Building Your Clinical Skills and Knowledge

Supervision is grounded in a culturally humble, liberatory lens.

We consider the role of culture, identity, family, systems, and lived experience in understanding both the client and your work as a therapist.

Supervision will focus on:

  • Assessment, diagnosis, and case conceptualization

  • Treatment planning and documentation

  • Commonly used therapeutic approaches

  • Selecting interventions that fit the client and treatment goals

  • Ethics, boundaries, and clinical decision-making

  • Cultural and family influences on clinical work

  • Strengthening your clinical reasoning and the knowledge needed as you prepare for licensure
