About Me
Dr. Iyabo Adediran, LMFT, LPCC

I know how heavy it feels to struggle with things that started long before you had words for them. Many of the adults I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck in the same patterns, or feel “not good enough” due to their childhood experiences and family dynamics.
My goal is simple: to help you make sense of it all and finally feel lighter, calmer, and more like yourself.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #125936) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #7479), and Clinical Supervisor. I approach therapy with cultural humility, meaning I don’t assume your story is familiar to me. I listen deeply and honor the strength it took to get you here.
Many of my clients grew up in families where emotions weren’t talked about, where being “strong” was expected, or where survival came before healing. Over time, that can lead to anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and relationship struggles. You don’t have to carry that alone anymore.
To support your healing, I use trauma-focused methods like EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches help your brain and body release old pain, calm your nervous system, and break patterns that no longer serve you. You don’t need to know how they work. I’ll guide you gently at your pace.
In therapy with me, you’ll never be judged or rushed. I provide a calm, supportive space where you can feel understood and learn healthier ways to care for yourself. Together, we’ll move toward the peace, confidence, and emotional freedom you’ve been longing for.
Healing is possible. You deserve to feel worthy, grounded, and whole, and I’m here to walk beside you on that journey.
